For standard items we require minimum 2 business days lead time. For custom cakes and event catering we need a minimum of 7 days but recommend 2 weeks. This ensures we have enough time to cater to every specification and deliver you something truly unique.

No minimum applies for standard online orders. Custom event orders may require a minimum spend depending on complexity.

Orders can be placed directly through our website. Simply add items to your cart, fill in any variant dropdowns, select your delivery date, and complete checkout.

Yes. We offer custom colours, themes, decorations, toppers, and personalised messages. Please fill out the form on the custom cake enquiry page and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Yes, we have standard store items that are gluten free and can make our custom cakes gluten free at no extra cost.

We unfortunately do not have any vegan items in our standard selection but can offer certain flavours for custom cakes. Please note that due to the nature of vegan buttercream and ingredients we may be limited with some design options. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, we will do our best to explain the options available to you.

While some cakes do not contain nuts, all products are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, eggs, and gluten. We do our absolute best to avoid cross contamination but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

We can use inspiration photos as a guide, but handmade cakes will always have slight variations. We aim to create something unique while matching the requested style as closely as possible.

Standard item orders do not require a deposit but instead full payment on purchase. Custom cakes and event catering may require a 50% deposit on order, with full amount needing to be paid a week prior to delivery date.

Delivery on orders under $100 is $15. All orders over $100 qualifies for free delivery.

Unfortunately, we do not offer pick up as an option at this time. We only do local delivery, however if your postcode is out of our delivery area, please reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate a meet up location to hand off any items.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the order. On the morning of your delivery date you will receive a text message with a delivery window. Cake and Sundry is not liable for any products that are left unattended due to missed customer pick up. We will do our absolute best to get in contact with you, we also recommend scheduling delivery for a day prior to any event to avoid delivery time stress.

We deliver every day of the week between 8AM-6PM, except for Sundays.

Cakes are best stored in the box they come in in the fridge. For buttercream cakes we recommend taking out 1 to 2 hours before serving to let the buttercream come up to room temperature for the best eating experience.

For best flavour and texture, cakes are best enjoyed within 2–4 days.

Serving guides are listed on each cake product page. Portions vary depending on how the cake is sliced.

Small changes may be possible if requested early enough. Major changes close to the event date may not be available.

Deposits for custom cakes are generally non-refundable. Refund eligibility depends on how much notice is provided before the scheduled pickup or delivery date.

Please contact us immediately with photos if there is an issue with your order. We will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Yes. We create custom wedding cakes for small and large celebrations.

Tasting boxes may be available for wedding clients and large event bookings.

Yes. We offer dessert tables, cupcakes, branded treats, and large-scale event orders.
